Shoebox Ministry’s 11th Annual Undie Sundie
Don’t Skimp on the Skivvies
Undergarments are the number one clothing
item needed by the homeless.

Join Shoebox Ministry from August 15th through October 31st in making this special event a success by donating new undergarments for the Valley’s estimated 15,000 homeless and 650,000 working poor. Each morning as we dress we take for granted that when we open our drawer there will be clean undergarments awaiting us. This is a comfort that thousands of men, women and children don’t have. Our goal is to collect 6,000 pieces and distribute them to 20+ Valley agencies serving those in need. Brighten the day for someone in need by picking up an extra package of underwear, undershirts, socks or bras. Items are needed for men, women and children; the greatest need being for men.

Shoebox Ministry: CtL has embraced Shoebox Ministry as an on-going project. This summer especially and throughout the year, please remember to bring basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, combs, brushes, magazines, tissues, Band-aids, et al. and place them in the large plastic container in Fellowship Hall. Also please bring shoe boxes and place them under the table. These toiletries are put together in shoe boxes and distributed in local agencies and shelters that serve the Valley’s homeless population. Our contributions have been applauded by Shoebox Ministry. The CtL community has done a wonderful service. Blessings!
