Council Mini Notes
Christ The Lord Lutheran Church
After welcoming Bob Flach as the newest Council member and Chairman of the Mutual Ministry Committee, the Council recommended that the Congregation approve the Operating Budget for 2007, as submitted by the Treasurer and Finance Committee.

Carol Hampton’s resignation from Council and as Chair of the Social Ministry Committee was reluctantly accepted with regret.

The Council accepted, with grateful thanks, an anonymous contribution of $100,000 which the donor has specified, and Council has agreed, to be used in conjunction with the pastoral transition program, and not for regular operating or on-going mortgage expenses.

Ron Schuster was appointed a member of the Audit Committee and Council will recommend that the Congregation elect Tom Ensign, Sandy Root, and Bob Wilkens, as members of the 2007 Nominating Committee.

Council reminds all of the Annual Meeting of the Congregation to be held on Sunday morning, January 28, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. In addition to routine business the Revised CtL Constitution and By-laws that were approved at the last Annual Meeting will need to be ratified, including some technical adjustments needed to make them compliant with ELCA guidelines. Copies of the Constitution and By-laws are available in the CtL office.

The Parking Lot Paving Project was completed within the pre-approved budget.
